From the 7th to the 28th of May, 2010, Hervé Youmbi’s Totems were presented at the Institut Français Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar, as part of the “Off” program of the Dakar Biennale. This exhibition was made possible thanks to the support of the Africa Center, Art Moves Africa and Culturesfrance. The artist was assisted by curator Adeline Chapelle and a team of students from the Dakar School of Fine Arts.
